- Square Enix not far behind with PS4-exclusive Minna no Spelunker Z.
- Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax beats the odds, makes it to North America in 2015.
- Tomonobu Itagaki tees off on current state of Dead or Alive franchise.
- Some valid criticism, but some key aspects (ie: skill gap) needed to happen.
- Katsuhiro Harada wants to produce a genre-spanning fighting mega-crossover.
- Acknowledges doing it right would ignore/alienate casuals, gives zero fucks.
- The Game Awards will return, Keighley confirms
- Just had to get it away from Spike to save it.
- Repackage it as E3-lite. A year-end blowout with GotY coverage and previews.
- Still don’t know what beat 4.8M PS4s over the holidays, but 6.6M Xboxes moved in total.
- Includes 360, so there’s still doubt whether XOne’s lead over PS4 was significant.
- Xbox Revenues down 20% year over year.
- Sony announces event next month to reveal “New PlayStation Initiative”.
- Sega cutting 300 jobs worldwide, relocating and scaling back US operations.
- Don’t sound alarms yet, maybe just some housekeeping with the addition of Atlus.
- AOL shuttering Joystiq.
- For their part, Joystiq are handling the talk well.
- A shame, they pioneered a great op-ed, personality-driven path for gaming media.
