- Team Ninja claimed 50 characters as the core (pre-DLC goal) count
- We’re at 24 as of this recording.
- Polygon claims Noctis is in, a safe bet despite being unconfirmed.
- P: I still say he should’ve landed day-and-date with FFXV.
- Remaining returning characters will probably count for much of the 50.
- Kuroyami no Kumo, Golbez, Gilgamesh, Tifa, Laguna, Ultimecia, Yuna, Prishe, Judge Gabranth, Feral Chaos (least likely return)
- So let’s say 15-16 spots are completely open to debate.
- XIII, XIV, XV representation needs to ramp up considerably.
- MUST bring in Snow, Thancred, Zenos, Aranea, Gladiolus
- Doubtful Ace and Ramza will be alone in representing their games.
- Type-0 and Tactics are bursting with good Dissidia options.
- At minimum, Delita Hyral is a shoe-in.
- Doubtful Type-0 and Tactics will be the only spinoffs represented.
- How far outside the main series will they go?
- SaGa, Seiken Densetsu, Chrono have all been under the FF banner at one point or another.
- Kingdom Hearts is unlikely as Disney owns all KH original characters. Don’t look for Sora here.
