- Job questlines being replaced by Role questlines from L70 on.

- As an example, new SMN action “Egi Assault I” indexes Ifrit’s Crimson Cyclone, Titan’s Earthen Armor, and Garuda’s Aerial Slash
- No word how transitional complications will be addressed (ie: Contagion)
- Chain-kill bonuses no longer applicable in dungeons (for EXP standardization)
- Damage limit increasing to seven figures (stat crunch likely coming in 6.0)
- Job Synergy being overhauled to reduce/abolish rigid party composition in PF.
- Tank stances only affect aggro now, with aggro combos being removed outright
- Damage reduction for tanks is now implemented through passive traits
- Protect is being abolished, healer balancing geared toward filling gaps in options
- MNK/DRG/SAM/NIN/RDM/BLM are going to remain fundamentally unchanged
- BRD/SMN/MCH are getting notable changes, with MCH being overhauled entirely
- There is still a ton of information under embargo until part 2 on Wednesday.
