T-7. “Bravely Default” – 3DS

Sorry there’s no video here.  We don’t have the hardware and software to capture 3DS gameplay.  As it was with Bayonetta 2, Nintendo became a godsend for Square Enix when it came to the localization of Bravely Default.  Not only that, but the game also heavily exceeded expectations worldwide leading to the announcement of its sequel, Bravely Second.

Bravely Default finds its way tied for the #7 spot due to its simplistic gameplay all while being just complex enough for an RPG veteran to feel well oriented.  Featuring more than 80+ hours of canon gameplay, the game boasts multiple endings as with many RPGs that the game has attributed to, but what really sets the game part is the fact that it’s did not forget its handheld audience.  As long as the game is, it’s best enjoyed in spurts especially since it rewards you for having your handheld closed.
