REVIEW — “Etrange Overlord” is a charming RPG that refuses to follow the rules

author image by Tanay Sharma | Nintendo Switch PC PlayStation 4 PlayStation 5 Reviews | 0 Comments | 19 Mar 2026

The modern gaming calendar is often dominated by sprawling, hundred-hour open-world behemoths, but Etrange Overlord takes the spotlight as my biggest surprise of the year so far. It’s developed by Gemdrops and SuperNiche, and headed by Disgaea creator Sohei Niikawa. Between 10 to 15 hours of gameplay, it marries an ironically grim sense of humor with tightly tuned, gimmick-free mechanics.

REVIEW — “Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf” Is a Quiet Masterpiece of Curiosity and Consequence

author image by Tanay Sharma | Nintendo Switch Nintendo Switch 2 PC PlayStation 4 PlayStation 5 Reviews Xbox One Xbox Series X | 0 Comments | 04 Mar 2026

Planet of Lana II is studio Wishfully’s second attempt at crafting a visually charming and puzzle-heavy platformer. Three years after the success of their first game, the second entry to the series does a delightful job at expanding on its story, with several twists and turns.

REVIEW — “Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered” is a gothic relic worth revisiting

author image by Tanay Sharma | Nintendo Switch PC PlayStation 4 PlayStation 5 Reviews Xbox One Xbox Series X | 0 Comments | 03 Mar 2026

As an original fan of Blood Omen and the franchise in general, I’m happy to admit that this remaster is going to bring a lot of joy to fans. The traces of an old classic remain, polished with a modern touch that keeps its essence alive. Part of me wanted a remake, but the remaster shall suffice!

Dear me, I was… is a tale of a woman who, through the many chapters of her life, has experienced the different textures of human nature. REVIEW — “Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition” is a slightly bittersweet love letter to fans

author image by Tanay Sharma | Nintendo Switch PC PlayStation 5 Reviews Xbox Series X | 0 Comments | 17 Feb 2026

These edition(s) of Rayman come with limitations that will easily be noticed by someone who has played the games on their original platforms and knows what it’s like to journey through the platformer through different accessibility options. “Old is gold” only applies to experiences that are worthy of shining, but not all that glitters is gold.

REVIEW — “High on Life 2” sets a high bar for self-aware shooters

author image by Tanay Sharma | PC PlayStation 5 Reviews Xbox Series X | 0 Comments | 16 Feb 2026

When High on Life launched, gamers had their first taste of a wacky and self-aware shooter where guns talked to them, and jokes wrote themselves. At times, the gameplay felt short, but the writing took the spotlight. Squanch Games built a comedic and action-packed adventure game that remains true to its core, but this time, it’s bigger, wackier, weirder, and deftly executed.

REVIEW – “Code Vein II” is a code red for modern soulslikes

author image by Tanay Sharma | PC PlayStation 5 Reviews Steam Xbox Series X | 0 Comments | 09 Feb 2026

Code Vein II remains a big piece of the puzzle in a world littered with puzzling Soulslike at the moment. Usually, a second entry into a series like this one does something that would surprise fans (in a good way), but I fail to see that happening for Code Vein II.

REVIEW – “Nioh 3” and the duality of discord

author image by Tanay Sharma | PC PlayStation 5 Reviews | 0 Comments | 04 Feb 2026

Nioh 3 is an excellent entry in the series, simply because of how open it is to experimentation. The dual fighting styles between a Samurai and a Ninja highlight this aspect of its gameplay philosophy, and that’s just the beginning of what you can expect from Team Ninja’s commitment to an intricate combat and exploration system. If you’ve never played a Nioh game before, that’s okay! I believe this one can attract a lot of new fans to the series.

EARLY ACCESS REVIEW – “Therapy Simulator” is a conversationalist mess of a game you shouldn’t ignore

author image by Tanay Sharma | PC Reviews | 0 Comments | 16 Jan 2026

Other than its mediocre gameplay systems and animations, Therapy Simulator does hold some potential. I love the writing, the way conversations flow, and how I’d look forward to speaking with a new patient now and then.
