The Legend of Zelda Cosplay
Zelda cosplay always has a huge showing at cons, but there are honestly wasn’t much that caught our attention… unless of course, it’s sort of forced. If you’ve played The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about.
Nintendo should really make Linkle canon…
The Best of the Rest of the Cosplay
Everybody who didn’t have at least three pictures to represent their game are here. We had Street Fighter, Ace Attorney, Uncharted, Metal Gear, Pokémon, and Kingdom Hearts all pretty well represented!
FanimeCon 2017 was actually my first time at a Fanime, despite me living in the area all my life.
Despite me not being the biggest anime fan there is, it was definitely a lot of fun and with my enjoyment of video games there was definitely something to enjoy about being around others passionate enough about their hobbies to the point that they’re dressing up as their favorite characters.
The cosplay community is actually one of the coolest communities I’ve been around. A couple of my friends are hardcore cosplayers, and I’ve had the pleasure of meeting well known ones like VampyBitMe and D-Piddy, and they’re all fantastic people who really are great representatives of the pastime. Definitely check them out on social media if you get a chance.
Until E3 (which I’m not expecting to see much cosplay in, but hey, it’s public now, so who knows?), this is Danreb, one of SmashPad’s resident con-goers, signing off.
