- Patrick: EA’s contract with the NFL is winding down. The NFL cares, sometimes too much, how its sport is represented, so if there was ever a time to start a community effort to curtail a renewal of this contract, you might want to start now.

- Company commits to mobile development, sort of.
- Clearly mobile gets “gateway games” while 3DS/Wii U get main courses.
- Seems DeNA will do the heavy development lifting while Nintendo advises.
- New hardware codenamed “Nintendo NX”.
- An obvious Wii U successor, leave 3DS and its momentum alone for now.
- No new info until 2016, so pencil the launch in for 2017.
- Iwata has a nice sit-down with Time Magazine where he lays everything out.
