Patrick Sounds Off: How FFVII Remake and Rebirth Won Me Over

It’s pretty well established at this point that Final Fantasy VII Remake isn’t actually an attempt to replace the badly-aged 1997 release with a fresh coat of paint, but is rather a very ambitious spinoff that starts out in a familiar place. That makes it much more palatable to me, and although that presents some new problems in itself, I’m finally ready to embark on the Unknown Journey.
