This weekend's featured game is Game & Wario for the Wii U.
The newest Wii U game from Nintendo is this spin-off of the WarioWare series that infusing that sense of style on a mini-game collection that is more of a traditional affair like Nintendo Land, which is disappointing as a WarioWare fan. It's odd that this wasn't out at launch to provide something of an edgier alternative to Nintendo Land, as it showcases a lot of the same neat tricks and ideas that I saw in Nintendo Land. The one innovative thing that Game & Wario offers is this interesting Miiverse mode that could be best described as a community-wide take on Pictionary minus the game part of it.
Taking a look ahead at July, this will be a rough month to find suitable games to cover. The only week with a notable release will be NCAA Football 14 on the July 13th show and that's it for the month. I'll probably feature the Ouya for next week's show, which covers the first half of the month. I'm sure PSN and XBLA will fill in the rest of the holes, but there's nothing right now for the second half of the month.
