SmashPad Streamkend with Dragon Fantasy Book I and Motocross Madness – April 20 at 2 PM EST

This week's SmashPad Streamkend will be featuring Dragon Fantasy Book I for the PS3 and Motocross Madness for the Xbox 360.

Dragon Fantasy Book I is the latest game in Sony's Spring Fever promo this year that features four indie games that are available for both the PS3 and Vita as Cross Buy titles. This indie RPG is a love letter to the classic NES-era RPGs like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest with a story that pokes fun at the cliches of the genre while not going that far to be a full parody. Motocross Madness is a reimagining of the classic motocross racing series that made waves on the PC way back in the day mostly for it's awesome sandbox mode. This version is a brand new game that fully integrates Xbox Live avatars into the game so that you can see your virtual self doing these crazy tricks.

The last weekend of April will likely be a dual show featuring Thomas Was Alone for the PS3 and Monaco for the Xbox 360 as next week's big releases. May should get off to a good start as we will likely do another dual show with Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon for PS3 and Xbox 360 and Zombie Tycoon 2: Brainhov's Revenge for the PS3. The rest of May is a bit murky at this point, which may be due to it still being a few weeks away. I'd wager that XBLA and PSN will once again save the month leading up to E3.
