This week's featured game is Capcom's Remember Me.
Capcom's newest game is an action game that is about the idea of people that specialize in being able to go into others' heads to manipulate their memories in order to make them think that a monumental moment in their life actually went another direction. The end result of that sort of memory hack is that you can completely change the demeanor and attitude of somebody by changing traumatic moments in their lives so that they go from being an adversary to an ally. Add a really striking art style with the game being set in a futuristic France and it's the sort of formula that leads to this game having the potential to become a hidden gem by 2014 when people look back on the games of 2013.
Looking into my crystal ball for upcoming releases, I can definitely confirm that we will check out New Super Luigi U for next week's show with Game & Wario taking over the week after that to cover the rest of June. While it was tough to really find games to play in June, July looks to be even worse right now. The lone highlight that I can see right now is NCAA Football 14 for the second show of that month, but that's about it. We have to hope that XBLA or PSN steps it up in July to fill up the holes that the physical games are leaving wide open.
