SmashPad Streamkend with Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark – July 27 at 2 PM EST

This week's featured game is Stealth Inc.: A Clone in the Dark for the PS3.

The latest big indie release on the PS3 and Vita is Stealth Inc.: A Clone in the Dark, which you may know better by its former name on the PC as Stealth Bastard. Due to concerns about future legal issues and having a more inviting name, Curve Studios sought out name suggestions from the community for the console version and actually came away with two winners that came up with half of the final name. Stealth Inc. itself is a stealth platformer that prides itself on offering the strategic advantages of the stealth genre without having slow movement controls that you'd expect from the genre. This creates an experience where you have the strategic satisfaction of outsmarting enemies and security systems without feeling like you have to extremely conservative with your movements to be able to do so.

August should present an end to this drought as bigger titles start releasing over the next few weeks before the fall season begins. Next week's show should feature Cloudberry Kingdom, which is the next PlayStation Store Play title in this big PSN summer promotion. The August 10 show will be a Pikmin 3 show as that highly anticipated Wii U game finally gets released. The August 17 show is probably going to be Dragon's Crown since there isn't anything of note coming out that week. The week after that is a surprisingly full week with quite a few big games releasing on the same day, though Saints Row IV will probably be the featured game on August 24. That is a solid look at what to expect over the next four weeks from SmashPad Streamkend.
