With E3 2016 in the rearview mirror, I asked the staff here at SmashPad to tell me their five most-anticipated games coming out of the show.
E3 was a bit of a weird show as we have new hardware looming over Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony that didn’t really make an appearance at the show. VR was certainly the biggest new thing as most publishers had at least one thing to show with some cool surprises for the future of those headsets. This year’s show was largely game-focused, and we saw a great variety of games that’ll ideally keep people happy for the next year or so until we see some of the new hardware.
As for this list, the only rules I gave the staff were not to include games coming in the next few weeks and obviously not those that weren’t at the show. Here are the individual most-anticipated lists from every SmashPad staff member:
